ASTMA335P91 seamless alloy steel pipe shall comply with the requirements of TSG D7002 [Type Test Rules for Pressure Pipeline Components]
ASTMA335 American Society for Testing and Materials High Temperature Seamless Ferrite Alloy Nominal Pipe
ASTMA335P91 Seamless Steel Pipe Chemical Composition: Carbon: 0.08~0.12, Manganese: 0.30~0.60, Phosphorus: ≤0.020, Sulfur ≤0.010, Silicon: 0.20~0.50, Chromium: 8.0~9.5, Molybdenum: 0.85~1.05, Vanadium: 0.18~0.25, Nitrogen: 0.030~0.070, Nickel: ≤0.40, Aluminum: ≤0.040 , Niobium: 0.06~0.10
ASTMA335P91 seamless steel pipe mechanical properties: tensile strength ≥585, yield strength ≥415,
ASTMA335P91 seamless steel pipe specifications: outer diameter: 57mm~762mm, wall thickness: 5.0~130mm
ASTMA335P91 seamless steel pipe production method: hot rolling, forging, delivery status: heat treatment.
ASTMA335P91 seamless steel pipe water pressure test, each pipe should be subjected to a water pressure test. Unless otherwise specified in the purchase order, at the discretion of the steel pipe factory, each steel pipe can be tested by non-destructive electrical testing instead of a water pressure test.
When the buyer specifies, the steel pipe can be delivered without a water pressure test and non-destructive electrical testing. When the buyer specifies, the steel pipe can be delivered after non-destructive electrical testing and a water pressure test.
Surface condition of ASTM A335P91 seamless steel pipe: All steel pipe surfaces should be clean, free of scale, stain, grease, paint, and other external materials; because these will interfere with the interpretation of the test results. The cleaning and preparation methods of the surface to be inspected shall not damage the steel pipe or surface quality. Excessively rough or deep scratches on the surface will produce interference signals that are unfavorable to the test.
When the buyer requires and indicates in the order, for each size and wall thickness of each furnace batch number of steel pipes NPS3 and above, the steel pipe factory shall provide a 100 times metallographic photo taken from the steel pipe sample in the delivery state. The metallographic photo should be marked according to the steel pipe size, wall thickness, and furnace batch. Unless additional requirements are specified, metallographic photos of the ordered single steel pipe are not required. These metallographic photos are only used to show the actual metal structure of the finished steel pipe and as data.
In addition to the metallographic photographs required by Supplementary Requirement S5, the buyer may specify that metallographic photographs of NPS3 and above steel pipes should be provided at one end of one or more steel pipes in each heat batch in the delivery state. The buyer shall specify the number of steel pipes to be tested in each heat batch in the order. When metallographic photographs are required to be taken on each steel pipe, the metallographic photographs of the steel pipes in the delivery state of each heat batch required by Supplementary Requirement SS may be omitted. All required metallographic photographs shall be appropriately marked according to the heat batch number, size, and wall thickness of the steel pipe from which the section was cut. The metallographic photographs shall be further marked so that each metallographic photograph can be associated with the single steel pipe it represents.
