First, the role of epoxy resin powder coated steel pipe coating:
Drainage coated steel pipe adopts high-temperature resistant heavy anti-corrosion modified epoxy resin powder to coat the inner and outer walls of the steel pipe. It solves the rust and scaling problems of galvanized steel pipe buried and water delivery, and improves the service life of fire protection and water supply (gas) pipelines. Because the heavy anti-corrosion modified epoxy resin used is a thermosetting plastic, its coating has good temperature resistance and can be used for a long time at -30℃~200℃, and it does not burn. At the same time, epoxy resin powder coated steel pipe has chemical corrosion resistance, fire extinguishing agent corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and wood pile fire resistance, as well as anti-corrosion or flame resistance in water and waterless states, which is suitable for fire fighting water and gas extinguishing.
Second, the production and installation of epoxy resin powder coated steel pipes should be done very carefully to ensure the installation quality:
1. Before construction, you should be familiar with the drawings carefully and make preparations according to the construction methods and specific measures of technical disclosure determined by the construction plan. Refer to the relevant equipment drawings and decoration building drawings to check whether the coordinates and elevations of various plastic-coated pipes are crossed, and whether the space used for the arrangement of plastic-coated pipes is reasonable. If there are any problems, discuss and solve them with the design and relevant personnel in time.
2. Draw the construction sketches of the plastic-coated pipe branch, pipe diameter, diameter change, reserved pipe opening, valve position, etc. according to the design drawings, mark the actual installation structure position, measure the accurate size of the actual installation in sections according to the marks, record it on the construction sketch, and then prefabricate according to the size measured in the sketch.
3. When installing epoxy resin powder-coated steel pipes, the operation generally starts from the main inlet, and a temporary thread plug is added to the main inlet end for pressure testing. Before installation, the appearance of pipes and fittings should be inspected: the inner and outer surfaces should have a complete galvanized layer, and should be smooth and beautiful. The inner and outer surfaces of the pipe fittings should be smooth, without sand holes, and the threads should not have broken wires or missing wires.
4. The epoxy resin powder-coated steel pipe connection adopts a threaded connection. The galvanized surface and exposed thread parts damaged during threading should be treated with anti-corrosion.
5. When using threaded connection, the plastic coated steel pipe should be cut mechanically, and the cut surface should not have flash or burrs; when cutting, the end face of the plastic coated steel pipe should be vertical. An automatic threading machine should be used for threading, lubricated with lubricating oil, and a standard thread gauge should be used for inspection. During processing, pay attention to cooling the plastic coated steel pipe body and do not heat the pipe. Protect the thread after processing.
